Common Rail Injector Testing Services

Common Rail Injector testing can be needed when your diesel engine is harder to start, feels lacking in power, runs roughly when it is idle, is using more fuel than usual, or produces excessive smoke or a strong diesel smell. A diagnostic check will help point towards injector or fuel-pressure faults.

The testing is carried out on specialised test benches, measuring things like spray pattern, fuel delivery, leak-off and electronic response so faults can be identified, corrected, or the injector replaced to restore smooth running, power and efficiency.

We use two brands of rail injector testing equipment: the Delphi CRi-PC Test Stand and the Bosch EPS 708.
