My VW T5 was having starting issues which no one else could diagnose or repair. I found Dan at Injection Development and I am really glad I did. He is was very thorough with his diagnosis and is clearly a very knowledgable mechanic. The problem wasn't easily identifiable but eventually he narrowed it down to the injector seals then also replaced the connector. My Van has never started or run better - we drove to Cornwall from Kent the next day with no problems at all. In addition Sarah provided great customer service when I was panicked about my beloved old van!

Excellent service from Dan (+ team) who helped me out of a sticky situation with some newly fitted Bosch TPMS sensors that no other garage in my local area had the correct tooling for (or they wouldn't touch them due to sensors being on the car already) - highly recommend their services to others, Dan even offered to complete this from his home if I needed so it would be a bit less of a drive which was a very thoughtful gesture, don't go asking him off the back of this review though!! 🙂
Fantastic service by Dan and the team. Had a problem with my Peugeot 3008 and needed my car back in the road asap because of work . They had a cancellation and managed to squeeze me in . Fitted a new injector fast! Highly recommend this garage . Courteous and helpful from start to finish.
Initially called Injection Developments with a technical query regarding a leak from a LR 200 TDI injection pump. After describing where the leak was from, Dan quickly re-assured me that it was not necessary to remove from the vehicle and could be easily resolved by fitting a new ‘O’ ring behind the blanking plate. He went above and beyond by suggesting I could collect said O ring from his house to save me a long journey. He provided me with a spare ‘O’ as well as explaining how it should be fitted. Thanks Dan ever so much and best wishes.
Had an issue with my injectors and after phoning 3 garages more local to me they are recommended Dan and injection development. This was an encouraging sign and it's fair to say expectations were met! I had to get my Sharan transported to there the afternoon before it was due to be looked and the team were more than accommodating. Once in, I had good communication with Dan who understood the issue and went about the repair and kept me updated. When the repair was finished Dan took me through step by step and even highlighted a couple of potential issues for the future. Very fair and competitive price overall a great experience. Thanks!

Dan and his team have been great. Ive had an intermittent issue with my van that other companies have failed to diagnose and I’d really lost faith in getting it fixed before it became a major problem. Dan was a breath of fresh air. Found the problem, explained it in an easy to understand way, explained the costs and did a great job. It’s taken me 4 years to find a good mechanic in Canterbury and I won’t be going elsewhere now I’ve found one.
Injection Development were recommended to me by a garage in Kent. My Diesel Golf auto was having stalling issues. Intermittent, that seemed to me to be related to air temperature... nope. They traced it to being (most likely) a faulty ECU. A new ECU would have been £1,000 plus fitting and they couldn't 100% say it was the problem. They suggested I buy a 2nd hand one from eBay and they'd send it off (with the old one) to be cloned. (They found and wrote down the specific part / code number for me.) The second hand ECU (£30) once cloned and fitted works like a treat. They provided a great service and most importantly trusted advice. Highly recommend 👍

My honda crv was running rough and way down on power, After haveing other family members take cars here with numerous diesel issues over the years I diddnt even bother to look elsewhere. They got the car in , diagnosed the problem ( that being 2 injectors that were supposedly newly refurbished) were not working properly had them replaced, checked the others were working fine as well and now the car is running better than it ever has .I was communicated throughout the process about pricing and time scale of the job( 2 days ), pricing was good and they even put some nuts that were missing onto the engine cover. There's no point taking your car anywhere else if it has an engine problem these guys really are the local diesel specialists. Many thanks, Joe
5 stars are not enough for this garage. If i could I would give them 10! Dan is an amazing mechanic and sorted out our t5 which is now running like a dream. If only we went to them first! A Honest, reliable and hardworking company. Would absolutely recommend….

After having the Diesel pump belt replaced(elsewhere) on my 2.5 T4 I noticed poor starting and lack of power so I gave injection development a call and they were more than happy to have a look. It turns out the pump timing was out. They then adjusted and got it spot on. I dropped the van off first thing and wasn't expecting to get it back that day, But had a call before lunch saying it was all done.. And what can I say she drives fantastic.. So to sum it up fantastic service from Emily in the office and Dan in the workshop they both knew what they were doing and super helpful too.. Top work.. thanks again guys..

I have an old 1996 diesel car that we use as a runaround. It was due a service and I wanted new front brakes and a knocking sound from the front of the car dealt with. I cannot fault the service, I was kept informed throughout and I know they had to go the extra mile to source some of the parts. The car now drives really well, the knock has gone and the car feels much better on the road than before. It was great to find a garage business that understands older cars as well as new vehicles. 10 out of 10 from me.
One of the best mechanics I've been too!! Had serious engine issues which another garage misdiagnosed and left me in trouble. The guys here fitted me in last minute for a quick check, found the fault and fixed it!!! He said he couldn't let the car leave without sorting it out. Won't take my car anywhere else now. What they don't know about diesel engines isn't worth knowing.
It is difficult to fault this garage, infact faultless. They are professional., fair, accommodating and if they can't sort the problem out, I doubt if it can. The AA had no idea, but this garage is like a laboratory and gets answers. Thank you Danny and all the team, amazing.

Referred to Injection Development from my local garage when they couldn't fully diagnose a suspected issue involving diesel injectors. Water in the fuel system was diagnosed by Injection Development, due to a design flaw with the fuel filler cap (Ford Kuga). Different repair options were offered with pros and cons explained fully. Work was carried out very quickly and reasonably priced, plus full advice given for preventing a recurrence following the repair. Would highly recommend

Diagnosed a fault and repaired it in a day when other garages couldn’t find the fault, the service was exceptional the mechanic was very helpful and took the time to explain what the issues were, would highly recommend injection development.

This is not my local garage (10 miles) I was booked in via a third party but I could not recommend enough. An excellent family run business. On arrival we were welcomed with a smile, and the lady on reception was very informative. On the day, the team were extremely accommodating, we'd asked if they could squeeze some extra work in that day without pre-booking, we were warned they were very busy and most probably wouldn't have time, however when we collected our vehicle, they had completed all the work in which we had requested, which was a lovely surprise. for a specialist garage we consider it good value for money. Urgent call made to injection development when we broke down at dover. On a Sunday night. Sarah accepted our job over the phone so that we could be recovered to the garage. We slept in the camper at the industrial estate and they got onto to the job first thing in a very busy Monday morning when they were already short staffed. The fault was cleared and the van was running happily again by tea time and we made the ferry that evening. Reasonable prices given the urgent nature of our visit. Top marks to Injection development for seeing us so soon and sorting us out so we could go to Europe for our holiday. Brill service.

I booked my van in for an MOT at Injection Development and was immediately offered three time slots on my preferred date. I arrived five minutes early and my vehicle was taken straight into the MOT bay, whilst I was shown to the office and offered a coffee. Within 30 minutes, the MOT was completed and I was able to leave promptly having paid my account. I would strongly recommend this company to individuals and local businesses, especially as they specialise in diesel vehicles. Thank you Injection Developments for your excellent service.

Our Audi Q7 broke down after 3 days of ownership, another well established garage misdiagnosed the problem, we took it to injection developments who correctly diagnosed the issue which reduced the repair bill by half, we will be using this garage for all our cars from now on, Danny is very knowledgeable.

I have used this company off and on for many years to work on my diesel vehicles and the experience has always been positive, which is why I have recommended them to others. (I've yet to have anyone who did not thank me for the recommendation.) I used them recently to help me with a Chrysler Voyager Diesel with a starting problem. They sorted the problem at a very reasonable cost and gave me options to get the engine running even more sweetly. I have to travel quite a long way to have these guys work on my vehicle but I do it because I know they are the best.
Called up to arrange an MOT, they were fully booked but managed to squeeze me in the same week ( late Friday afternoon), working overtime on a Saturday, and late Monday afternoon, ensuring i didn't lose out on business. I can't praise Injection Development enough, they went above and beyond to help me out.

Job completed 15 days early. Excellent standard of work and a reasonable price too. Friendly service from reception staff and mechanics. All this coupled with the fact that they'll carry out jobs other mechanics would be hesitant to touch should tell you that you won't do better than this place. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Was booked in for the morning for a diagnostics on my vehicle which was completed promptly with recommendations for work required , went ahead with the work and was all completed by 3pm very professional service and excellent customer service…Even got entered into a raffle for a valentines meal now you don’t get that at every garage.
I recently put my very tired Mk 7 Transit Van in the caring hands of Injection Developments and am absolutely delighted with the result. The Workshop Team diagnosed the fault as a problem with the SVC and transformed my vehicle from a shuddering hulk prone to stalling, to an animal of a higher order that positively purrs and has lost its excessive appetite for fuel.
